Summer Camps
Youth and Teen Earth Skills Experience
In this program, campers learn the essential skills of wilderness survival: how to provide oneself with shelter, water, fire, and food. Campers will also learn proper knife and tool safety and how to stay safe in the wild. In addition to making useful things from materials they collect from the land, we will also go on adventures in the surrounding area and learn about the diverse local plant and animal life and how they interact. Interspersed throughout the week, we will play a number of Native American games which were designed to teach useful awareness skills for everyday life.
Youth and teen groups will be formulated based on numbers and ages of campers.

Teen Overnight
This 6-day program is designed for teenagers who are looking to challenge themselves and increase their skill level while becoming more at home in nature. Ideally, campers who are signing up for this program will have taken the Teen Earth Skills Experience, but it is not required. We will get into advanced skills such as bows and arrows, basketry, fish spears, different fire-making techniques, herbal medicines, primitive cooking, as well as more advanced awareness skills. A major goal of this program is to help campers gain a greater sense of comfort and ease in the wilderness, as well as a greater level of self-confidence, creativity, and problem-solving ability.

Homeschool Program
Adventuring in nature, earth skills, games to increase awareness of one's surroundings and oneself….all these things and more combine to form our homeschool program. Hands-on skills using materials gathered from the landscape are a great way for students to explore their environment and understand it on a deeper level, enhancing their own connection to it. The "Sacred Order"- how to procure shelter, water, fire, and food from the landscape- is our foundation.
As students grow with these skills through attending multiple semesters, we push them to new levels. The projects they work on become more advanced. There are no limits to what a student can learn when it comes to living with the land.
Our homeschool program is divided into a Fall Semester (September-December) and a Winter/Spring Semester (January- May).
